Today I cooked Pumpkin Rajasthani style using my new Tefal Cuisine Companion, an automatic cooker. Here I share how I did it. I used the recipe for Rajasthani Pumpkin from Tarla Dalal with a minor change for Tefal.
Put the following mixer in Tefal bowl.
Add following in the bowl :

- One small stick cinnamon (dalchini)
- Two cloves (laung, lavang)
- Two cardamoms (elaichi)
- Half tablespoon of nigella seeds (kalonji)
- Quarter tablespoon mustard seeds ( rai / sarson)
- Quarter tablespoon fenugreek (methi) seeds
- Pinch of asafoetida (hing)
Set the TefalCuisine on following manual settings
- Speed 2
- Temprature 135 degree
- Time 2 minutes
Start TefalCuisine.
Now add half chopped tomato in the bowl.

Now add one and a half cup of chopped red pumpkin and salt to taste in the bowl.
Set the TefalCuisine on following manual settings

Add two spoons of yogurt and half tablespoon of aamchur (mango powder)
Check to see pumpkin is soft otherwise cook for another five minutes.
Sprinkle some dhaniya.
Your food is ready.
(I have a Rotimatic too which I had started to cook three rotis for me and they were ready before the subzi.)
